⭐️What is S.T.A.R puppy?

it is an exciting program designed to give dog owners and their puppies a head start on basic training. preparing you and your pup for the Canine Good Citizen and everyday life.

⭐️What are the benefits of this program?

this is an organized training course to teach you how to best communicate with your puppy. it will also allow an opportunity for your puppy to socialize in a positive environment, get information on puppy raising, answers to any questions you may have, or learn the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called.

it will always be a comfortable positive environment for both owner and dog.

⭐️How it works

there will be a total of 6 classes that are required to attend, a test will be administered at the end of the course.

upon passing the test, you’ll receive an application to send to AKC for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R puppy program
- an AKC S.T.A.R puppy ribbon
- Certificate of completion
- A new puppy handbook.

⭐️Requirements

dogs up to 12 months in age.

all breeds are welcome to join, purebred or mixed breed.

vaccination records must be up to date and your puppy must be cleared by a veterinarian to be able to come in contact with other dogs and environments.

some form of ID for your puppy, ex: tag on collar or harness, microchip number, licensed with the state, identification tattoo.
